Sharon has practiced law for more than 30 years. She began her career with an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Department as an Air Force civilian J.A.G. attorney, representing the Air Force in labor/employment law and class action litigation. Sharon has also taught law at U.S. Air Force J.A.G. School, St. Mary’s University School of Law and Liberty University School of Law. Currently, she teaches business law, employment law and management courses at Trinity University, Michael Neidorff School of Business in San Antonio, TX.
She is a sought-after international speaker on global labor and humanitarian issues. Sharon has presented and published papers in the United States, China, Middle East (Egypt) and Europe. She advises commercial clients and faith-based business owners on all aspects of business law. Recognized for her expertise in labor/employment law, Sharon has been Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, since 1994. She is married to Bryan L. Thomas. They are proud parents of three children and four grandsons.
Admitted to practice: Texas State Courts U.S. Federal District Court, Western District of Texas U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit and United States Supreme Court.
